Strengthening Collaboration with the National Economic Council

Meeting with the Dewan Ekonomi Nasional (DEN), alongside colleagues from Danantara Investment Management (DIM), to discuss the latest developments across several of our investments.

I recently had the opportunity, together with colleagues from Danantara Investment Management (DIM), to meet with the Dewan Ekonomi Nasional (DEN) and discuss the latest developments across several of our investments.

The discussion was also an opportunity to receive perspectives and input from DEN, particularly on how our investment activities can remain aligned with Indonesia’s broader economic direction and sustainability goals.

At DIM, we believe the private sector continues to play a critical role in Indonesia’s investment and economic development. This is why we approach our investments in a measured and structured way, with careful consideration of their impact on the broader market.

Rather than crowding out private investment, our ambition is to create opportunities for greater private-sector participation and encourage crowding in. We want our investments to help catalyze capital, capabilities, and partnerships that can contribute to Indonesia’s long-term growth.

This is also aligned with the broader goal of building a sustainable economy that creates meaningful benefits for the Indonesian people.

There is still much work ahead, but through stronger coordination and collaboration across institutions, I believe we can continue to move in the right direction
