Danantara Indonesia recently convened the Danantara Government Strategic Forum to strengthen coordination and collaboration with ministries, government agencies, and other key stakeholders in Indonesia’s economic and investment ecosystem.
While building international investor confidence remains an important priority, I believe strong domestic collaboration is equally essential. Sustainable investment and economic growth require clear communication, shared priorities, and effective coordination across institutions.
The forum brought together approximately 249 participants from coordinating ministries, technical ministries, and other government institutions to discuss several fundamental issues. These included Danantara Indonesia’s role in supporting national strategic projects, Indonesia’s potential to become a global economic growth centre, the transformation of state-owned enterprises, and the opportunities and challenges ahead on the path toward Indonesia Emas 2045.
I see forums like this as an important platform for building a stronger mutual understanding between Danantara Indonesia and government institutions. Better alignment can help us work more effectively toward shared national development priorities.
Ultimately, economic growth should translate into tangible benefits for the Indonesian people. Through stronger institutional collaboration, I believe we can help create an economy that is more productive, resilient, and inclusive, generating jobs, improving quality of life, and expanding opportunities across the country.
