TBS Energi Utama’s Commitment to Achieve Net-Zero Emissions 2030

TBS Energi Utama at COP26UK

Pandu – I feel proud of @tbsenergiutama today’s announcement. The company states the seriousness of its commitment to achieving net-zero carbon in 2030. It will invest US$500 million in the renewable, electric vehicle, and clean energy industries in the next 5 years.

As a witness to TBS’s journey from the start, this is a big and fundamental step that means a lot for the company to transform. Since the beginning, TBS has never stopped innovating by utilizing technology that is also continuously being developed.

I remember being an early employee of TBS a decade ago. It can be said that I was one of the people who got the company business card and made the company logo together.

The company’s move to become a public company in 2012 to the decision to change its name from Toba Bara to TBS Energi Utama in 2021 also makes me proud. All of these things are to achieve the dream of becoming a new renewable energy company with a big role in the country.

This week, TBS had the opportunity to participate in the Climate Change Conference @cop26uk in Glasgow, Scotland. TBS was chosen to be one of the speakers from the private sector. Represented by Mr. Bambang Brojonegoro (Independent Commissioner), Mr. Dicky Yordan (President Director of TBS Energi Utama), and Mr. Dimas Wibowo (President Director of Toba Bara Energi) who will share how the company is serious about supporting the Government’s efforts to achieve the net-zero carbon target in Indonesia.
