Pandu –What is more important than a brilliant idea? I could say that ‘the execution’ is the answer. I shared this thought recently during a series of mentoring events for startup founders. In executing the business ideas, I said to those founders, that they have to be able “simplify the business thinking and the business process” so they know exactly what they do.
This also reminds me of what my Professor at Stanford said, “do ordinary things extraordinarily well”. Every day, I learn that thousands of startup proposals are being sent, and I see how they go through a long journey to get funding. Therefore, I can say that what gives value addition which attracts people to be users of their platform, lies not only in the idea of being a solution to people’s problem, but also in the ability to make it happen.
The technology industry in Indonesia will continue to grow. In this industry, there would always be a young generation with a new innovation and new way to do a lot of things in future . At the end, this industry will become an inseparable part in helping the government accelerate the digital economy. So, the presence of regulations will become an inevitable part of it.
