#BanggaBuatanIndonesia
Pandu – We can express our love for something in many ways. To me, love is to respect someone or something. As I always do, I wear batik to symbolize my love and respect for my country, Indonesia. I learned to respect our country from my uncle and mom. They taught me how to love our country by having a deep respect for the original culture of Indonesia. I always wear batik, a local product produced by many small and medium enterprises in Indonesia, every time I travel abroad and attend other important occasions.
I truly appreciate the #BanggaBuatanIndonesia nation-wide movement that has been launched by the government in order to help MSMEs affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
This nation-wide movement offers a high value of solidarity. Its vision is to foster a sense of pride in using Indonesian-made products, while its mission is to strengthen the business and marketing sustainability of Indonesian MSMEs and Small and Medium Industries.
I wish this national movement will be increasingly followed by MSMEs and Small and Medium Industries players. After listening to the government’s presentation and discussing with the ministries and government agencies a few weeks ago, it apparently provides a lot of advantages, including; online marketing training, marketing assistance, digital access to e-commerce accounts aiming to promote the products/businesses, and most importantly a great chance to expand businesses and Indonesian-made products into global markets by appearing in the forefront of Indonesia’s large e-commerce.
